Dog safety
Your dog’s safety, in the car and every day
In a sudden brake, an unrestrained dog becomes a dangerous projectile for itself and for the passengers. AnimalParadise brings together seat belts, car safety harnesses and separation barriers that keep your companion in place and protect everyone on every journey.
How do I secure my dog in the car properly?
The dog must be restrained so it does not interfere with driving. A safety harness linked to the belt by a short tether, or a dedicated seat belt clipped into the buckle, holds it still without hindering it. The harness remains the safest choice as it spreads the force across the chest in an impact.
Is a separation barrier useful in an estate or SUV?
Yes. A barrier isolates the boot from the cabin and stops the dog moving to the front during the trip. It protects the passengers when braking and gives the dog a clearly defined space, without depriving it of air or visibility.
Our dog safety range
- Car safety harnesses : padded and crash-tested, they clip into the belt and spread the force across the chest.
- Seat belts and tethers : adjustable leads linking the harness to the safety buckle, keeping the dog secure yet free to sit.
- Separation barriers : rigid barriers that isolate the boot from the cabin and keep driver and passengers safe.
The AnimalParadise expert tip: check the chest girth before buying a harness and favour a short tether: the shorter the lead, the less the dog is thrown forward when braking.
Our dog safety equipment is delivered quickly throughout Europe, so you can drive and live with peace of mind.
