Cat treats

Treats to reward (and care for) your cat

A treat isn't just a pleasure: it's a training tool, a bonding moment and sometimes a real health gesture. You just need to choose the right one and not overdo it.

Do treats make my cat fat?

Only if they're added without counting. The rule: treats shouldn't exceed 10% of the daily ration. Choose small or light formats for a cat you're watching.

Are there genuinely useful treats?

Yes: dental snacks that limit tartar, anti-hairball treats, or functional treats (joints, coat). They combine pleasure with a small health benefit.

Our cat treats range

  • Soft rewards: ideal for training and recall.
  • Dental snacks: help limit plaque and tartar.
  • Anti-hairball treats: ease transit.
  • Sticks and bars: to share for a bonding moment.
  • Catnip and cat grass: for pleasure and digestion.
The AnimalParadise expert tip: use the treat at the right moment — right after a desired behaviour (coming when called, accepting the carrier): your cat will link the reward to the action and cooperate more easily.
