Litter Mat
Litter mat: stop grains before they scatter
After every trip to the box, your cat carries litter grains stuck under its pads. The litter mat, placed right in front of the box entrance, catches these particles from the very first steps. No more litter tracks around the house: the grains stay trapped in the mat, which you empty with a single gesture.
How does a litter mat trap the grains?
Its textured surface, with nubs or a honeycomb pattern, dislodges grains caught between the pads as the cat walks over it. The particles drop into the cells or between the fibres, away from the paws. You then simply shake the mat over the box or a bin to empty it.
Which mat should I choose for my home?
For heavy use, go for a wide double-layer mat that collects grains in an inner compartment. On hard floors, a non-slip backing keeps it in place. A soft EVA or rubber material rinses under water and dries fast, ideal for frequent cleaning.
Our range of litter mats
- Nub mats : dislodge grains under the pads every time the cat passes.
- Double-layer mats : trap litter in an inner compartment for a spotless floor.
- Non-slip backing : stay put on tiles and wood floors without sliding.
The AnimalParadise expert tip: choose a mat wider than the box exit and shake it over the bin every two to three days. A weekly rinse prevents the build-up of dust and bacteria.
