Is agility suitable for every dog ?
Most healthy dogs can enjoy it, as long as you match the obstacle height to their size and age. For a puppy or a senior dog, choose low jumps and a gentle pace. If in doubt, ask your vet for advice before you begin.
What equipment do I need to start a course ?
Keep it simple: one or two adjustable hurdles, a tunnel and a set of weave poles are enough to learn the basics. Space the obstacles out, guide your dog with your voice and treats, then bring them closer as confidence grows. Progress should stay playful.
