Litter for small mammals

A 100% natural, biodegradable and compostable plant material, pine shavings make a comfortable litter because of their softness and absorbency, and they give off a pleasant woody smell. It can also be combined with another very absorbent material for greater efficiency.

Use: Pour a 2 to 3 cm layer of litter into the cage tray.

Replace when liquids and odours are no longer absorbed.

Change the litter as often as necessary to keep the animal dry.

Composition: Pine

Performance Index: 2 Corresponds to the volume of liquid absorbed per litre of material.

The higher the index, the greater the absorption capacity, which enhances the hygiene of the cage, reduces humidity and odours, and reduces the amount of litter consumed.

Example : Index 1 = 0.1L of liquid absorbed by 1 L of litter

index 20 = 2 L of liquid absorbed per 1 L of litter.
